ELF NATION: INNOCENCE LOST (ReBlogged)

My heart sinks when I think that I have to let people know their world is a lie. I remember my childhood and teenage years with a smile. I recall the innocence of neighborhood "kick the can" and making snow forts. I want those similar memories for every kid out there. To be able to see an American future with hope-filled eyes. For dreams to be happy. But God does not give us what we want, He gives us what we need. And it's clear He thinks we all need a BIG wake up call. Evil can only affect us if we let it. Maybe it's time to buy a simple cross necklace (not a Masonic/Celtic one) to keep away the "vampire elves". As the "dream" fades, we as a society will have to decide whether to give in to dark forces or win back our dignity.
